Our Work in Action
2axend LLC required a centralized, scalable, and accessible online learning platform that could support interpreter training, continuing education units (CEUs), accreditation, and certification. Prior to the 2axend Hub, training opportunities for Interpreters were limited by in-person delivery models, affordability constraints, and the lack of a Deaf-first digital learning environment.
Solutions:
To address these challenges, we designed and developed a fully customized online learning platform built on WordPress, integrating a customized LearnDash LMS and WooCommerce for course delivery, payments, and certification management. The platform is hosted in a secure, advanced WP Engine environment, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

About 2axend LLC
2axend LLC is dedicated to advancing accessibility, inclusion, and cultural awareness for the Deaf and hard of hearing community. Phase 1
Discovery
Understanding Needs of the 2axend Target Audience
Phase 1 focused on understanding 2axend’s business goals, learner needs, and the technical requirements for a robust online learning ecosystem. During this phase, we identified the need for advanced, customized LMS functionality that went beyond out-of-the-box solutions.
Key features identified and planned during discovery included:
Course creation and management
CEU accreditation tracking
Video-based learning optimized for Deaf users
Instructor dashboards and administrative tools

Phase 2
Branding and Design
In Phase 2, we focused on branding and design to ensure the Hub aligned seamlessly with the existing 2axend brand standards we previously developed. The design prioritized clarity, usability, and cultural awareness, while maintaining visual consistency across all 2axend digital properties.
Our UX/UI approach centered on:

Phase 3
Development, Results, and Impact
Phase 3 brought the platform to life through customized development and system integration. We architected the LMS to support automation, reporting, and certification while maintaining flexibility for future expansion. Outcomes of this phase include:
